The academic office handles general matters, including routine course registration issues (such as drop/add). For more complicated or individually unique matters, the academic office might refer you to an appropriate advisor to discuss and/or handle the matter. For placement and transfer credit matters, they may refer you to the Math Placement office. For math major advising, and for matters related to undergraduate assistantships, scholarships, or research projects, they may refer you to the Math Center.

Location & Hours

We are located in the Mathematics Building Room 108. Walk-up service is provided daily 8:00 AM – 4:55 PM. There is no need to make an appointment. (Note that we follow the same holiday/closure schedule as the rest of the campus.)

Homework

Homework for math courses turned into our office must be received by our office by 4:30 PM. We do not accept homework after 4:30 PM.
