Internship and Work Opportunities at Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Event

Internship and Work Opportunities at Oak Ridge National Laboratory
Location: Hybrid: Math, 402/Online
Presenter: Juan Restrepo, Section Head, Mathematics in Computation, Oak Ridge National Laboratory

It is a multi-disciplinary laboratory with premier research expertise in energy, materials, biological sciences, chemistry and atomic physics. It also houses the world’s fastest (exascale) computer and a large group focused on mathematics and computer science research, with a focus on data sciences, artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and high-performance computing.  I will describe the various research internships available to US and non-US citizen students.

Our mathematics and computer science groups are expanding and I will also use the opportunity to describe opportunities for postdoctoral fellowships as well as staff positions at the lab. I will also be available to discuss opportunities for students and junior researchers at other DOE laboratories.
