Our next Math Instruction Colloquium will be hosted on Monday, February 13th from 4 - 5 pm in Math 203. During this time, we will be hearing from Marta and DeAnna with insights from two webinars they are attending. 

 

Marta is attending a webinar given by Dr. Naomi Nishi regarding racial dynamics in mathematics classes and will be discussing and reporting back information from the session. 

 

DeAnna is attending a webinar hosted by Data Science for Everyone Coalition regarding Innovating Math in Higher Education and will be providing us with information from this session.

 

In addition to hearing their insights, we hope to have a rich discussion around the implications and applications of the topics in our own classrooms.
